We were looking for a taco truck… and found a hidden gem instead! While driving through Prunedale in search of tacos, we stumbled across the most incredible Filipino food truck and honestly, it was one of the best surprises ever. The food? Absolutely phenomenal. The pork lumpia was so good, I haven’t stopped thinking about it since! Perfectly crisp, packed with flavor, and paired with their homemade sweet chili dipping sauce made from scratch and totally unforgettable. You can taste the love in every drop! The adobo was next-level too tender, rich, and full of comfort in every bite. Seriously, everything we tried was amazing. The gentleman running the truck was the kindest, funniest soul. He made us feel right at home and even shared a little backstory: the mac salad was his father’s original recipe (made with dill pickles), but he put his own twist on it by using sweet pickles. That small detail made the meal feel so personal and special. I’m from Oakdale, CA, and let me tell you I would 100% make the 2.5-hour drive again just to eat here. It’s that worth it.
